AMA Collision Announces Major Expansion and Rebrand: Bellarine Smash Repairs becomes AMA Collision Bellarine

AMA Collision is pleased to announce the expansion and rebrand of Bellarine Smash Repairs to AMA Collision Bellarine, representing a significant investment in the Greater Bellarine Peninsula region and strengthening our national commitment to fast, safe, customer-focused collision repairs.

The expanded facility at 44–52 Cedar Parade, Moolap, will go live on 15th December 2025, increasing operational space and enabling the site to better serve the growing Bellarine Peninsula community.

Supporting Regional Growth

Population growth and rising vehicle volumes have increased demand for quality repairs across the region. “Re-launching as AMA Collision Bellarine represents both an operational uplift and a renewed commitment to supporting our community, insurers and fleet partners,” said Stuart Faid, Executive General Manager, AMA Collision.

The expansion adds 790 sqm of production space and 2,000 sqm of hardstand, delivering the room needed to improve workflow, safety and overall customer access.

Purpose-Built for Efficiency

The new dual-building layout streamlines production and improves repair flow.

Site B Enhancements

  • 2 new spray booths

  • 2 prep bays and a mixing room

  • 10 additional panels and detailing bays

  • Expanded fleet and customer parking

Site A Customer Experience

  • Customer service centre retained for seamless drop-off/pick-up

  • New EV charging station

  • Improved check-in and repair flow

The upgraded footprint reduces congestion and bottlenecks, allowing technicians to work more efficiently and improving repair cycle times for customers and insurer partners.

Supporting Insurer and Community Needs

AMA Collision Bellarine has long been a trusted and high-performing repair centre. The expanded facility ensures it can keep pace with growing demand by enabling more repairs, smoother scheduling, and the capacity to support a broader range of insurer, fleet and community Programs.

This investment aligns with AMA Collision’s national strategy to strengthen regional capability and deliver consistent, high-quality repairs across the network.

Local Jobs & Skills

To support the uplift in production, AMA Collision Bellarine will add eight new skilled roles, including panel technicians, a spray painter, a detailer and an estimator—boosting local employment and trade opportunities for the region.

Rebranding to AMA Collision

The move to the AMA Collision brand delivers a consistent, modern and nationally recognised customer experience. As part of Australia’s largest collision repair network, the Bellarine facility benefits from shared systems, technology and standards that reinforce trust, quality and technical excellence.

A Strong Step Forward for the Region

“This expansion is more than a physical upgrade — it’s a long-term investment in the Bellarine Peninsula region,” said Stuart Faid. “Customers will benefit from faster turnaround times and safer access, while insurers gain confidence in a facility built for modern vehicles and modern expectations.”
